Your keyboard, explained ๐
Start typing in your browser, learn how native keyboards work, and get clear answers about privacy and setup.
Browser ยท Windows & macOS
- Choose a member and customize your look.
- Open Live preview and focus the typing area.
- Type with your physical keyboard or tap the on-screen keys. Use 123 for symbols and the smiley for emojis.
- Use Copy to move your message to another app.
No Windows/macOS input driver is installed. This site doesn't intercept other apps' keystrokes.
Open typing studio โAndroid ยท Native keyboard
Android system keyboards use InputMethodService. A native app must be built and installed before it appears in your keyboard settings.
- Build the native source with Android Studio.
- Install your signed APK on your Android device.
- Open system Settings โ System โ Languages & input โ On-screen keyboard โ Manage keyboards. Labels vary by device.
- Enable KatseyeKeyboard, review Android's input-method warning, and select it in the keyboard picker.
The native source doesn't request internet, contacts, microphone, or storage permissions. Disable it at any time in system settings.
Source code, not an installer. Includes your current style preferences. Add licensed character PNGs locally; uploaded images aren't bundled.
iPhone & iPad ยท Keyboard extension
iOS requires a containing app with a custom keyboard extension. Use Xcode on a Mac to build and sign it.
- Create the containing app and keyboard extension target in Xcode, then add the provided source.
- Sign and install the app on your device.
- Open Settings โ General โ Keyboard โ Keyboards โ Add New Keyboard and choose KatseyeKeyboard.
- Use the globe key to switch keyboards. Full Access is not required for offline typing. The supplied iOS extension disables typing sound because it does not request speaker access.
Apple switches back to its keyboard for secure text fields and some phone-number fields; apps may reject third-party keyboards. Native signing and distribution aren't performed by this website.

A few things worth knowing
Does this replace my phone keyboard?
Not from the website alone. The browser preview is fully functional inside this app; system input needs a separately compiled Android app or iOS extension.
Are these official member photos?
No. The starter portraits are replaceable fan artwork. Upload legally obtained photos or stickers on the Members screen. This is an unofficial fan project.
Will you save what I type?
Never. Text is held in page memory only and disappears when you leave the typing screen. Only non-sensitive visual preferences and asset links can be saved.
Why is there no Enable keyboard button?
A web page cannot register a system keyboard. Instead, we show the real device steps and downloadable native source, without pretending installation has happened.
